Exxon Begins Charging Extra For Credit Cards
A reader asked us to post a notice Le'toeles Ha'rabim. Only after he already filled up his tank at the Exxon gas station at Kennedy & Route 9 did he notice that the gas station began charging extra for credit card purchases. Other gas stations in the area-including Valero-have been charging the extra fee for a few months now-usually about a 5-6 cents over the cash fee.

ganovim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well oil is down so they gotta try to make up for it somewhat!
why? they post the price for cash and credit card!!!!
read the sign.
before you start calling people ganovim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way OIL is UP not down. Over $75.00 a barrel.
It's illegal to charge more for credit card payments.
FYI it is ilegal EVEN though Valero does it, you should report them !!
Report them to Mastercard & Visa it is against their contracts
First Langert raises taxes, now he's raising gas prices! What's next?
It's illegal fpr any business to more for credit cards.
boycott them
For those of us who are older than 25 (not too many i suppose)this used to be standard practice @ all gas stations and is NOT illegal @ gas stations for some reason.
The trick that makes it legal is that Credit card customers pay full price and you get a discount for paying cash!!!!!!
its not more expenseve for credit cards they give a "discount" for cash payments and there allowed to do that as per there contract.
The Shell Station across the Road is cheaper with no extra charge for credit cards.
As per hacaros hatov. The owner of Exxon gave lots of money to bmg. So if the prices are higher let it go he's a good person who. Likes the comunity besides the substation makes really good food
I believe that the Valero, (1/4 mile north, in Howell) only charged higher during the "crises season". Last I recall, they no longer charge extra for credit card use.
If the Oilum significantly stops using Exxon, even for a week, trust me, they will revert to the same price for credit.
WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE LYERS THAT SAID IF YOU ELECT ME I WILL LOWER TAXES
first of all the coffee there is NOT kosher as i have seen the exxon employies but reg, not cholov yisroel milk into the colov yisroel milk than take that and fill up the glass coffee pot. than take that and put it into the nonkosher microvawefor over 2 mins, i have called kcl and they said thell look into it. (its been 3 years since ive bought coffee there)
