Attention 'The Event' ticket holders in Lakewood- Stay tuned

"the show sold less than 1000 seats out of 5400. Don't bother wasting your tickets on a show that'll get cancelled.....this time by the producers themselves." The Lakewood Scoop does not want to speculate, but according to the above comment which was found on the COLLIVE website regarding The Event, it was blown way out of proportion claiming only a fraction of the tickets were sold. Although the scheduled show is just a few days away and its website claiming it's almost all sold out, you will never know for sure. We don't know if it's a statement from someone who's in the loop or just a non-sense comment, but in this economy, maybe people are cutting back on concerts too. You may want to stay tuned to the news.

Hamodia website goes live

Just a short while ago if you Googled the word Hamodia and clicked on the first link from your query, you were directed to a simple place-holder site with the words "We will not be publishing an internet Edition of the paper."However, that has all changed now. With the growing popularity of the internet, even within the Frum community, the Hamodia .COM has realized that by not publishing an online edition they miss out tapping into an otherwise lucrative market.
This is just another step to gain ground ahead of the competition. Just a couple of weeks ago, the Hamodia teamed up with the popular Lakewood magazine, The Voice Of Lakewood, which has been serving the Lakewood community for nearly five years with it's upscale magazine.
