Woman Accused Of Assault On LPD Officer Eric Menck, Gets Into Trouble Again
Just days after being sentenced to three years probation and ordered to serve 100 hours of community service following a trial for charges stemming from a 2005 assault on Lakewood Patrolman Erik Menck, Nicole M. Robinson, 33, was arrested at Kimball Medical Center for prescription fraud. She was arrested on Sunday after she attempted to fill a prescription given to her there that day by a hospital doctor for 20 oxycodone pills, police said. The prescription had been printed by a computer and was altered to indicate it included one refill, authorities said. The printer put a check mark on the no-refill line, and a "1" was written in pen inside a circle on the line indicating the number of refills. The pharmacist checked with the issuing doctor and no refills were ordered, police said. Robinson was processed and released on a summons, according to the complaint. Robinson testified in her trial in Superior Court, Toms River that Menck beat her for at least 20 minutes when he came to her home to arrest her for an earlier incident. APP
