to post 2:15 & 3:08, been there done it. don't just look at the chavrusa tumol pictures and 'mach avek' with it. come back to bmg tomorrow & see the beutiful outcome of todays tumol-thousand of the worlds elite bnai torah shteiging with their newly found chavrusos. Look at todays tumol sort of like...um...soser al m'nas livnos. And by the way instead of sitting by your bbq with pink crocks on your day off from work why not come to bmg to find a chavrusa?

True for many chavrusa tumult is a "hechsher mitzvah". I was at chavrusa tumult and I was utterly humiliated TO MY FACE by two yungerleit that were considered to be "very chashuve yungeleit" with Brisk and all in their pocket. I'm truly embarassed to say who the fathers of those two yungerleit are.
For some unfortonately it is just a chance to catch up on the news from the past few weeks;where they went on vacation.... But true for the most part it is yungerleit that are enthusiatically ready to start a new zeman and are looking for chavrusas

The last umul I was a part of my prospective chavrusa who was in his third year bais medrash asked my shadchan what yeshiva I went to before lakewood. I was in my seventh year of kollel.I asked him if he wants the name of my mohel. I left that year. I learn more geshmak every day now in the three hours I set aside than I did all day then. I don't wear crocks or bbq and I only blog my opinion while I am fressing and checking up with my blackberry

august 23 5:22, I think that was a legitimate question. Different yeshivas have different mehalchim. Wanted to understand you better.
