Expect Severe Congestion On Turnpike-Beginning Tomorrow
Notice: The Route 440 Connector Ramp from Exit 14A of the New Jersey Turnpike Extension will be closed for more than two weeks starting tomorrow and Turnpike Authority officials are warning drivers to expect severe congestion. Road maintenance work including resurfacing work to the bridge deck will close the connector ramp beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m. until Thursday, July 23 at 5 a.m., officials said. Drivers who want to get to Route 440 from the Turnpike Extension should use Exit 14B instead of 14A and follow detour signs, officials said. Drivers coming from the I-95 Turnpike and heading east on Route 78, should use Exit 15E to access Route 440. The Jersey Journal.
