OC To Provide Free Skin Cancer Screenings To Residents
Noting the importance of education at a time when the number of cases of melanoma are increasing, the Ocean County Cancer Coalition along with Ocean County officials today kicked off an awareness campaign focusing on skin cancer. The coalition with Dr. Arnold Baskies and Ocean County Freeholder Gerry P. Little released details for the upcoming “Choose Your Cover Day 2009,” at a press conference at Bayview Park. “Choose Your Cover” is a free skin cancer screening event to help prevent melanoma and skin cancer, the most common and most preventable form of cancer.
