Peacock Found In Westgate

(Photos below) Just when you thought you've seen it all..Approximately 8:00 p.m. this evening, Chaveirim was called to remove a bird from a residents backyard. The caller said "it's about the size of a peacock". Well a Chaveirim member went to help and guess what-It was indeed a Peacock! The member requested animal control to respond to have the bird removed.

Peacocks may seem harmless but they can be dangerous, especialy when provoked

Technically it is a peahen. The peacock is the male and has all the colorful feathers.

Puh-Leeze. that is a wild turkey! a peacock is much smaller and has six foot feathers that drag behind it. they ae also blue and have a much smaller head. there are plenty of these running around in the Forshay area of Monsey.
