Updated EXCLUSIVE: Keter Torah To Close Half The School

Updated below EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS. Yeshivas Keter Torah of Lakewood, which started ten years ago, headed by Rabbi Mordechai Dabbah Shlita, will be closing the Lakewood school from 4th grade through 8th, at the end of this coming school year and opening an elementary school in Deal, with grades 1st through 8th, The Lakewood Scoop has learned. The Mesivta however, will still remain open and under the leadership of Rabbi Mordechai Shlita. Sources tell The Lakewood Scoop, that the Rosh Hayeshiva Rabbi Mordechai Shlita was unable to open his Yeshiva in Deal until now as he initially wanted, because of the Deal Yeshiva's presence. However, the Deal Yeshiva will not be opening this coming school year, primarily because of financial reasons, therefore allowing Rabbi Dabbah Shlita to open in Deal. We will keep you posted with additional information as it becomes available to us. (TLS).
U/D 10:28 a.m The Lakewood Scoop just spoke with Reb Tzvi Zev Shwartz Shlita, the Menahel of Keter Torah, who said, that the 4th through 8th grade of Keter Torah will not be CLOSING as initially reported, rather MOVING. A meeting between Deal community leaders, including Rabbi Diomond Shlita took place with Reb Yosef Rosenblum Shlita and they asked Rabbi Mordechai Dabbah Shlita to open a Yeshiva in Deal and that being that most of the upper Lakewood grades are boys from Deal, to have them moved to Deal. The lower classes, grades 1st through 4th, which is mostly Lakewood boys, will remain in Lakewood.

Will rabbi tzvi zev schwartz stay on as the menahel in lakewood or will he move on to deal?

It sounds more like a move than a close.

What happens after 4th grade? Will the Lakewood kids have to travel to Deal??

Why is this important?

The older Lakewood kids will have to travel to Deal, instead of the Deal kids coming to Lakewood. Being that most of the students are from Deal, it seems only fair to do it this way (and the transportation costs are less too).
