The trooper, Andrew Spedaliere, knew yellow inspection stickers expired in 2008, so he stopped the Ford near the intersection of Route 88 and Clover Street, around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, state police said. The driver, Angel Merrera Marcial, 22, of Lakewood, gave the trooper an expired insurance card and a fraudulent Mexican driver's license, said State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones. Merrera Marcial was arrested and charged with criminal simulation, uttering a fictitious government document and hindering apprehension. Jones said police also impounded the uninsured vehicle. APP.
