At the Wednesday Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting, it was announced that three traffic lights were scheduled to be installed at busy intersections in Lakewood and Jackson. In Lakewood, plans call for a signal to be erected by the end of the year at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue. In Jackson, the corner of South Cooks Bridge Road and Brewers Bridge Road along with the corner of Monmouth and Hawkin Roads will have new traffic lights.According to the Department of Planning, estimated costs for the three light installations will be an estimated $625,000.
