Going Away For Yom Tov? Hold Your Mail At No Cost

If you are leaving for Yom Tov, it may be a good idea to have your mail placed on hold while you're away. The USPS offers this service free from 3-30 days. It takes just a couple of minutes to sign up , which you can do by clicking here. You can sign up until 2 a.m the day you wish to start, but like everything else, it's best to do it in advance. Burglars look out for homes with accumulating mail, so rather safe than sorry. Note, when a hold is placed on your mail, it gets placed on the whole address, so if you are a landlord or a tenant, be sure you both want your mail held. FAQ's regarding hold mail can be found here.
