THE BUS DRIVERS IN LAKEWOOD ARE A BUNCH OF WILD ANIMALS THEY THINKS THEY ARE IN A PARK THEY ARE THE ONES TRANSPORTING KIDS AROUND LAKEWOOD YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD DRIVE WITH JUST A BIT CATION BUT THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE THEY ARE A DANGER TO EVERY DRIVER ON THE ROAD JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE BIGGER THEY THINK THEY OWN THE ROAD AND NO BODY ELSE HAS A RIGHT TO USE THE ROADS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

You are absolutely right!
The new young "fun unzere" bus drivers are young, not experienced. They think they're still behind the wheel of their Lumina or something.
Just chill, boys.

I was once in front of an impatient bus with a "fun unzere" driver. I had to cross Clifton Ave. where there was no light, and I was being careful. He honked at me because I was taking too long (for him).I think it is up to me to decide when to cross a street, not up to the yutz behind me.

The only animals on the road are my fellow yids. I sympathize with those bus drivers they have a very difficult job trying to move the those big buses around Lakewood with all the traffic and parked cars and we don't make it any easier on them when we don't yield to there lights. They drive our children too we should be a little more courteous and help them get on/off/down streets safely. My son's bus driver is very nice and drives very safe, i observe him every morning when he picks the boys up at the corner and i have no complaints.

We are well aware of the fact that you hate us, School Busses, on the road, we are well aware of the fact that you don't think we are carrying YOUR children when you cut in front of us. What you are not aware of, we have to move a 50 foot bus around on streets that are crowded beyond capacity, that most of your children don't want to sit in their seats, and that when you fly by my reds you are putting your own and you neighbors children at risk. The bus today, hit a SUV that cut him off. CUT HIM OFF. All so he can sustain injuries doing a job so your little angel can get home. You can thank him here. As, even though he was injured and the accident wasn't his fault, he still got those kids out of the bus, made sure they were safe and they went back to school to finish their day, YOUR WELCOME. Now, if you hate your bus driver, take your own kid to school.

If you mean me, yes, bus drivers read the news. Enjoy your evening. See you in the morning.

Anon 9:03 PM -
Of course we appreciate what you have to go through each day as part of your job. And we thank you for it. It's just that we see no reason that "a 50 foot bus around on streets that are crowded beyond capacity, that most of your children don't want to sit in their seats" has to make a left turn at 40 MPH!

I agree, some people drive like there is no one around, but most of us are just trying to do a good job and get children to school safely. I just don't understand how a conversation having to do with an accident on New Hampshire had turned into all bus drivers drive like maniacs. We don't. If the bus is fill beyond capacity, report your driver, if your driver drives like a jerk, call the police. This driver was doing his job, safely. Kids were in their seats, doing what they were told. Good thing, if they weren't the headline would have been much different. You didn't hear this driver, his voice. You didn't hear the other driver call it in, upset and scared. We waited on edge for the medical report. He was a guy, doing a good job, and to hear how some people are speaking about the drivers that take their kids to school makes us all shake our heads in wonder. Talk to your driver, be concerned, let your kids know that this could happen, and does. The sooner we can get kids to follow directions and keep good drivers on the road the safer things will be for your kids and people who drive them.
