Police charged a 35-year-old Holly Street man with aggravated assault and two weapons offenses after witnesses told police he hit another man with a bag of full beer cans then pulled a knife on the victim, who ran away, said Detective Steve Wexler. The man is being held in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River in lieu of $15,000 bail. The victim, Antonio Ramirez, was working when Pineda-Guerra provoked an argument and struck Ramirez from behind with a bag of full beer cans, Wexler said. A group of witnesses described the attack to police. Pineda-Guerra then pulled out a knife and chased Ramirez as he ran. Man Assaulted By Beer Cans
